Client Production

The Client Production report shows production and billing totals for each client. This report is used to compare the production amounts of WIP to the billed amounts per client.

Permissions Required for this Report

In the staff profile, staff must be assigned to a security group that is granted View functional rights for the following:

• Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Shared Library > Shared Views
• Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Custom
• Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Standard > Firm
• Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > Standard > Practice
• Security group profile > Functional rights > Reports > Firm Library > <report name>

Reports in Foundation that are Comparable

In Practice Management, the comparable report is Client Production. In Practice Advantage, there is no comparable report.

The following report options and filters are available to determine the report contents.

Report Fields

The following fields are available for this report. The fields that display and the position of fields are based on the report's settings, grouping, sorting, and filters.

Report Fields
Field	Description
Client ID	The client ID and sub-ID (Client ID.Sub-ID).
Client Name	The client name.
Detail Section (Staff, Service Code, or Project)	The staff name, service code, or project (depending on what was selected in options and settings) for the transactions.
Production Hours	All hours entered for the date range.
Production Amounts	All amounts entered for the date range, including expenses.
Billing Hours	The total hours billed within the date range.
Invoiced w/o Progress	The total billed WIP amount for the client w/o progress.
Write Up/Down	The total write up/down amount for the billed WIP.
Real %	The billed amount plus write up/down divided by billed amount.
Effective Rate	The invoiced without progress amount divided by the number of billed hours.
